Intermodal Asia will enable the Container Logistics sector to reconnect, in-person, this July

 Intermodal Asia Exhibition & Seminars, SWEEC, Shanghai 20 – 22 July 2021

Intermodal Asia is organised in partnership with China’s leading container association, CCIA (China Container Industry Association). The event also benefits from the full support of the world’s largest container manufacturer, CIMC (China International Marine Containers).

2020 was a devasting year across the globe, however China managed to register economic growth; the only major economy to do so. And what’s more, in the first quarter of 2021 China’s economy grew a record 18.3% – compared to the same quarter last year – according to China’s National Bureau of Statistics.

With an enviable economy, China remains the perfect place to host Intermodal Asia this July. The suppliers presenting their products and solutions at the event are experts in Container Manufacturing and associated technologies. These exhibitors are global players with bases in Asia, who have the know-how and expertise to transform the container logistics industry. Attendees already registered for the event are drawn from logistics providers, freight forwarders, shipping agents, ports and cargo owners.

“We are delighted to be hosting Intermodal Asia this year” says Rob Fisher, Group Director, Intermodal Events. “Albeit, as a domestic show this year. The last 12 months have been extremely challenging, but throughout the pandemic the container logistics industry has risen to the challenge and kept supply chains replenished. Intermodal Asia will be a focal point to rejoice these achievements and for businesses to engage and reconnect with buyers.”

Intermodal Asia will also provide visitors with the opportunity to participate in a comprehensive programme of industry updates. Seminars are free to attend and are convened under the theme of Smarter Logistics: Intermodal Excellence. Intermodal Asia attendees will hear directly from expert speakers face-to-face; and what’s more international speakers will join the event digitally – meaning attendees will have unparalleled access to industry leaders from across the globe.
