Eurotainer announces the appointment of Jorgen Nielsen as General Manager, Asia Pacific
On 19 August 2024 Jorgen Nielsen joined Eurotainer as General Manager, Asia Pacific based in Singapore. Jorgen will manage Eurotainer’s operations in Asia Pacific and will execute the company’s growth strategy for the region.
Jorgen, a Singaporean resident, started his career in the shipping industry in Denmark in 1990 before relocating to Singapore in 1995. His career has included positions with Danish firms DFDS and DSV where he developed a diversified management and business development experience. In 2007 Jorgen joined GAC International, a widely recognized global provider of integrated shipping, logistics, marine and related services where he has served as General Manager, Logistics Services for the past twelve years.
Jorgen is succeeding Francois Batut who will take on a new role within the Containers Business Unit of Streem.
